Testimony
Pastor Gary came to know the Lord on March 25th, 1990. After attending what he thought was a typical church service, that evening the Lord confronted him in a dream. Calling him to a life of repentance and service, he accepted the Lord in the privacy of a bedroom.
Since that encounter, Gary testifies that God has proven Himself faithful, blessing him far more than he could ever imagine.
Ministry
His ministry spans more than 35 years, serving in various capacities along the way. He served during one of the nation’s greatest outpourings, the Brownsville Revival, as Associate Pastor during that season. Whether Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, Evangelist or Mentor, he has been committed to making a global impact, ministering throughout Africa, the Middle East and North America.
He is known for his strong leadership style, his “tell it like it is” preaching and his passion for empowering others serving in the ministry. He is a strong advocate for missions, mentorships, and the use of digital media to further the gospel.
Personal
Gary holds three degrees in various subjects and is trained as an accountant, a mainframe programmer, and a manager. He spent many years in finance and banking. His calling was recognized by the Assemblies of God who ordained him in 1996.
He married his college sweetheart, Penni, over 40 years ago. Penni is a former employee of SunTrust Bank. After many years, she chose to return to school to pursue a new career, Cosmotology. She has since retired to her favorite role as “Mimi.”
Together they have one daughter, Suzanne, and after marrying her husband Steve, they were blessed with two grandsons, Silas and Smith.
